Generating a World Compartment

To set up the simulation of a certain world compartment the world compartment process has to read two kinds
of files: (1) a world specification file with suffix 'world' and (2) a type file
with suffix 'type'.
A world specification file with suffix 'world' (Jan-18, 96) is an ASCII-text with a certain format describing the layout of a certain world.
A type file with suffix 'type' (Febr-15, 96) contains the general description of a certain type which is common for all instances of this type.
While reading these files the generating process builts several data-structures to store the read information:
