Theory of science is understood here as a 'meta science' dealing with methodological questions related to all kinds of sciences and theories. With this it follows the steps of philosophy, especially epistemology.

Possible topics of a theory of science are:

  • Concept of a theory
  • Comparison of theories
  • Methods of measurements
  • Theory and computer simulation
  • Relationship between a human consciousness and a theory
